First and Only in New Jersey. Built for Real Outcomes.

If you’re searching for amputee fitness programs in New Jersey, or looking for ways to stay active after limb loss, this is built for you.

Manfredi O&P is now the first and only provider in New Jersey partnered with Forged Amputee Wellness—bringing personalized, at-home fitness programs for amputees directly to our patients at no cost.

This is about one thing: helping you move forward, outside of the clinic.

For Manfredi O&P patients, this program is completely free (normally $25/month).

What Is Forged Amputee Wellness?

Forged Amputee Wellness is a specialized program designed specifically for individuals with limb loss who want to improve:

  • Strength

  • Mobility

  • Balance

  • Confidence in daily life

Led by Andy Hundley, DPT, the process starts with a one-on-one call to understand your current ability, limitations, and goals. From there, you receive a custom-built training plan that fits your lifestyle.

No gym required. No guesswork. No generic plans.

This is amputee-specific training, built to meet you where you are and move you forward safely.

Important: This program works alongside physical therapy, not as a replacement. It helps you continue building progress between clinical visits.

For Manfredi O&P patients, this program is completely free (normally $25/month).

Why This Partnership Matters

Many amputees leave rehab asking the same question:

“What do I do now?”

That gap between appointments is where progress is either built or lost.

This program fills that gap.

Patients who stay active and follow a structured plan tend to:

  • Improve mobility faster

  • Maintain strength long-term

  • Gain confidence in everyday movement

This is about long-term outcomes, not short-term fixes.

Fitness Shouldn’t Feel Intimidating

Let’s be honest.

Walking into a gym can feel overwhelming for anyone.
Now add limb loss into the equation, and it can feel even more uncomfortable, even isolating.

It’s easy to feel like all eyes are on you.
Easy to feel unsure of where to start.
Easy to put it off.

That’s the friction this program removes.

With Forged Amputee Wellness, you train in your own space, on your own terms, with a plan built specifically for you.

No pressure. No comparison. Just progress.

And confidence builds from there.

  • Maybe your goal is to walk without pain

  • Maybe it’s to move more freely day to day

  • Maybe it’s to eventually step into a gym and feel completely confident

Or maybe right now, the goal is simple: just keep moving forward

All of those goals matter. All of them count.

This is where that starts.

More Than a Prosthetic Provider

If you’re looking for an amputee support program in Monmouth County or Ocean County, this is what makes the difference.

For over 70 years, Manfredi O&P has supported patients with more than just devices. We’ve built a system around community, education, and ongoing support:

  • Peer Visitors who have lived the experience

  • Out on a Limb Support Group for connection and shared insight

  • Adaptive events to get you back into life:

    • Adaptive Golf (June)

    • Scuba Diving experiences later this year, led by support group leader Ken Hoffman

Better outcomes happen when people stay engaged. This is how we make that possible.
